Request:
Murry’s Fine Foods requested a site that would catch visitors attention and be very visually attractive. They wanted to showcase their products and advertise them in efforts to promote their food services. They requested that all the content and pages to be administrate able. As well, they requested a product administration in order to control what foods they offer. Murry’s has a number of locations so they also requested that a store located be put into place within the site so users could find the nearest retailer.

Solution:
Using Coldfusion and Flash, Murry’s fine foods received a very striking web site that presented their food and services. All of the content was manageable through a WYSIWYG editor allowing the administrators to have no prior understanding of HTML. Additionally, an easy to use product management system was put into place so that as their product base grew it could be easily reflected on the web site.

Contribution:
Murry’s was created by a number of developers. I was given the responsibility of handling template work, contact forms, the initial use of Javascript and DHTML instead of Flash for the homepage, and the products section. The largest portion of Murry’s Fine Foods I handled was the products portion including the design and development of the product administration component. I also handled the front end categorization and displaying of their product library.
